It all started with our own home.

Living in a big city like Sofia, we quickly became aware of how much of the outside world makes its way into our homes. Dust, pollen, fine particles and, of course, insects. Opening the windows for fresh air often meant inviting all of them in too.

We found ourselves cleaning constantly — when all we really wanted was the simple pleasure of opening a window and letting fresh air into our home.

So we started looking for a better solution.

We didn’t want yet another air purifier that takes up space in the room, needs maintenance and adds to the electricity bill. And an ordinary insect screen that only keeps mosquitoes out wasn’t a solution to the problem either.

We wanted to be able to open the windows for fresh air, while limiting what we didn’t want coming into our home.

That search led us to a new generation of window mesh designed to do more than a conventional insect screen — helping filter unwanted particles while still allowing air and natural light to pass through.

We believed in the idea enough to put it to work in our own home first.

And that is how FreshMesh was born.
